The people have spoken! Can you believe I've had two separate requests for knit boot cuffs in the past week? So... I have delivered! Five colors are available immediately in my knitting shop and I will be adding more soon. Most are made with wool or a wool blend, but I'll also be making some with acrylic yarn, simply because I like the colors better! All are soft and stretchy and designed to fit small- to medium-sized women's calves.

I've been making a ton more of those cable knit watchcaps over the last couple months. They're super cute and VERY fun to make! I've been working on getting a new style of hat to sell in my shop and think I've finally settled one! This is a cabled watch cap, with a brim long enough to roll up, keeping your ears super warm. I love how comfy and slightly slouchy it wears, and I think it would be super warm to wear in the snow!

I unfortunately did not actually sell anything at the bazaar this past weekend. :( It was still a fun experience though, and I might do it again someday. I think if I do do it again, I might try to find a more "cute" product that give people an emotional reaction that they just have to buy! Or I just might stick with Etsy... Anyway, here's my table. ;)

Next weekend I'm doing my first bazaar! My mom and aunt have done them for years, but stopped before I even started with my Etsy shop . This year I had been toying with the idea of doing a bazaar myself, but so many have a rather large entry cost just to set up a table! I finally found one with a low entry cost, so decided to take the jump! :) Today I spent HOURS organizing and labeling my inventory. Really, I only have about 100 items, so I'm surprised it took so long. Glad I didn't leave it to the last minute!! ;P I was toying with the idea of putting my shop on "vacation mode" while I am doing the bazaar, but then realized that... hello ... I have an iPhone. I can just hop onto my phone and deactivate anything that sells in person (or grab something off my bazaar table if it sells online). How spoiled we are in this era of mobile computing? Lol. Hopefully I'll have a profitable time selling next week! It's all day Saturday... I can't wait! ...

I just introduced a new line of iPhone cozies to my Etsy shop ! These are the colors I've got made up so far, but I'll probably be adding a few more this weekend. I thought it'd be fun to have a quick and easy item people could buy for stocking stuffers!

Fall is my favorite time of year, in case you didn't know. The leaves changing, spices in the kitchen, crisp air, warm sweaters. The whole vibe of the season is so exciting to me, like something's brewing and about to happen. Which is why I'm so happy to show you some more of my amazing line of knit hats and accessories! (Smooth segue, no?) I've got acrylic hats and wool-blend hats, as well as a few gorgeous scarves and cowls. And all in super cute colors, too! The alpaca wool yarn I got the other day is soooo nice! I absolutely love it and wish I could let you feel it through the computer screen. It really works perfectly for the new luxury line of beanies that I'm preparing for my shop. All the colors are just so deep and luscious and the knitted fabric comes out thick, soft, and warm. I can't wait for it to start snowing again so I can steal one of these hats to wear myself! One of the best things about knitting is getting new yarn! Other than seeing my new creations come to life, I think seeing all the beautiful yarn colors, yet un-knitted, is my favorite part of this craft. This is a new yarn that I'm trying out called Drops Nepal that'll be perfect for my fall collection . It's a wool and alpaca blend and soooooo soft! I tried one ball of it about a week ago and LOVED it so had to order a bunch more. I may just be tempted to keep one of these new hats for myself!

I actually sold a hat out of the blue the other day, which put a fire under me to re-stock my knitting shop for the upcoming Christmas season! It's still quite amazing to me that you have to plan ahead this far for holiday sales, but you really do. Last year I had several hat types in my shop, but it got a little hectic to have so many different options. It's hard to know what to focus on and where to put your efforts when there are so many options to choose from. Since this is the one I like making the most, for now I think I'm just going to focus on this one style. We'll see if I change my mind in a week and add another type. This is my little bag of tools. I like to keep my go-to knitting needles, scissors, needle sizer, and row counter all in one place so that I can grab it and go! I got my row counter on Etsy; it attaches to your needle so you won't lose it, and you can just turn the end of it to count every round you do! Here's a SMALL stash of my yarn. I have boxes more, but these are out for the current project I'm working on. And here.... is a sneak peak at my next project. I'm trying out a little crocheting this summer. Can you guess what I'm making?

I just realized I haven't told you guys about the toeless yoga socks that I've been knitting lately! They're so fun I'm going to have to make some for myself too, but for now they're all going in my Etsy shop . I love how soft they are and they really keep your feet warm while still letting you grip the floor nicely w/ your toes. Perfect! Here are the colors I have made so far, and I'm working on a blue pair next.
