Mark Every Hour With A Picture!

Yesterday I tried a fun experiment that I may repeat again. I took a photo every hour, on the hour (give or take 5-10 minutes), all day long. I saw this done about a week ago over on Artichoke Designs and wanted to give it a try. It was definitely a fun experience and made the day seem to go by really fast!

If you were following me on Twitter or Instagram, you probably already saw some of these, but for the rest of you, here's what my day looked like yesterday.

10:00am - Still sleeping. One of the perks of unemployment.
11:00am - The rain stopped for the first time in two days so I went outside to take Etsy pictures.
12:00pm - Carlita wouldn't stop playing with my yarn, so I gave her a remote to play with instead.
1:00pm - Working on a new pattern. So far, it's driving me crazy.

2:00pm - Watching "A Pixar Story" on Netflix while I work on my knitting.

3:00pm - Carlita fell asleep on the back of my chair while I was knitting.
4:00pm - Microwaving my lunch. Yum.
5:00pm - Finally settled on a new pattern to try. I'm almost done with the first prototype. So far, so good.
6:00pm - Carlita is surveying the neighborhood.
7:00pm - Waiting for the rice to finish so I can have dinner.
8:00pm - It got warm this evening, so I broke out the fans.
9:00pm - Time sure rushes by when you mark every hour with a picture! I just finished dinner and I think I'll start another hat.
10:00pm - Lights out. Time to watch a little tv before bed.

Hi, my name is Linda and I am a 25 year old law student living in Manhattan. I blog over at My Passion Is... about my life, scrapbooking, DIY crafts, photography, exploring NYC & more. I am honored to be sharing a post with you today on Jen's blog, so thanks for having me! What you need: empty pasta box [I used a whole foods penne pasta] scrapbook papers & embellishments a single hole punch sturdy tape [like packaging tape] a paper cutter and/or scissors some sort of binding, either binding rings or ribbon First, you are going to flatten out your pasta box. Then you are going to cut it down to two 6x6 squares [or whatever size album you want to make]. If the box doesn’t fit perfectly in those shapes that’s alright, just piece them together using packaging tape to hold the squares together. Once you cover them i...

Looking for a new church

For reasons I won't bore you with, I'll most likely be moving a little closer to school within the next month or two. This prompted me to start church-hunting again, to find something a little closer to where I'll be located. And this, of course, prompted me to start thinking in depth about what helps me decide what churches to try and what churches to stick with once I try them. via Website I must say, a church's website is a pretty huge first impression. If you don't have one... or if it looks like it hasn't been updated since 1992... I most likely won't read far enough to even find out when your service times are. You don't need a flashy, gimmicky site either (in fact, I'd prefer you didn't), but please make sure to list services times, directions, ministry and education opportunities, and also names and emails/phone numbers of people I can get in contact with in case I have more questions. Also, it is super helpful to have some phot...
