A Walk in the Beautiful Oregon Outdoors

I've made it a goal to get a little exercise this summer, so the other day I walked down to the lake near our house. It was so beautiful! Too bad there's no swimming allowed, because it would've been the perfect day for it.

  1. I have been neglecting my exercise... time to get back to it. Your pictures are amazing. My mom was from Salem Oregon, I spent 23 glorious days in the summer of 1995 and I LOVED every minute of it :)

  2. Gorgeous photos!! I never have time to exercise, but I do happen to walk a lot just from the nature of living in Manhattan and not having a car. I haven't been to Oregon since I was a little kid [I grew up in California, so we actually made it up there pretty frequently], it is so gorgeous there! You just don't get that kind of green here.

  3. Hi Jen! I am loving the photos! I haven't been loyal to my excercising regimen lately, but I did work-out yesterday morning with the daughter at the gym. Boy am I hurting today! I've never been to Oregon, but it looks like a very nice place to visit. Tootles!

DIY Art Journal

Hi, my name is Linda and I am a 25 year old law student living in Manhattan. I blog over at My Passion Is... about my life, scrapbooking, DIY crafts, photography, exploring NYC & more. I am honored to be sharing a post with you today on Jen's blog, so thanks for having me! I recently completed a mini album that I made out of a pasta box so I wanted to share a tutorial with you so you could make your own! What you need: empty pasta box [I used a whole foods penne pasta] scrapbook papers & embellishments a single hole punch sturdy tape [like packaging tape] a paper cutter and/or scissors some sort of binding, either binding rings or ribbon First, you are going to flatten out your pasta box. Then you are going to cut it down to two 6x6 squares [or whatever size album you want to make]. If the box doesn’t fit perfectly in those shapes that’s alright, just piece them together using packaging tape to hold the squares together. Once you cover them i
