Somebody That I Used To Know

Considering that this song is #4 on iTunes, you've probably already heard it, &/or added it to your iTunes library. However... I just discovered this song this past weekend and have probably listened to it a dozen times in the past couple days, so I had to share it with you. I can't get enough of the haunting melody!

I also found a fascinating cover of the song on YouTube. The intensity of the music isn't quite as good as the original, but overall the video is pretty cool. As someone who took one semester of guitar about 10 years ago, I can't even imaging how difficult it must be to play one guitar with 4 other people while you're all singing! Lol. They make it look remarkably easy though. ;)

  4. This has been in my head since we found these videos on Monday. :P I went ahead and re-watched the second one just now to really listen to the lyrics (since you can't really understand the original) - I like to know what's being said - helps to sing along! :)

DIY Art Journal

Hi, my name is Linda and I am a 25 year old law student living in Manhattan. I blog over at My Passion Is... about my life, scrapbooking, DIY crafts, photography, exploring NYC & more. I am honored to be sharing a post with you today on Jen's blog, so thanks for having me! I recently completed a mini album that I made out of a pasta box so I wanted to share a tutorial with you so you could make your own! What you need: empty pasta box [I used a whole foods penne pasta] scrapbook papers & embellishments a single hole punch sturdy tape [like packaging tape] a paper cutter and/or scissors some sort of binding, either binding rings or ribbon First, you are going to flatten out your pasta box. Then you are going to cut it down to two 6x6 squares [or whatever size album you want to make]. If the box doesn’t fit perfectly in those shapes that’s alright, just piece them together using packaging tape to hold the squares together. Once you cover them i
