Here's a fun thing to do:   put your iPod on shuffle   and just listen to whatever comes up!

I did this the other day while driving to school and it was kind of cool to hear songs that I'd either not heard for awhile or completely didn't remember putting on there in the first place. Take a listen! :)

Adele - Rolling In The Deep - YouTube by ... on Grooveshark

When We Dance by Sting on Grooveshark

I Hope You Find It by Miley Cyrus on Grooveshark

Debaser by Rogue Wave on Grooveshark

All My Life by Five Miles Out on Grooveshark

  1. such a good idea! i do that sometimes and it's so fun to hear songs that i totally forgot about. and I Hope You Find It by Miley Cyrus is one of my favorite songs :)

  2. Shuffle doesn't really work for me. I like listening to different types of music depending on my mood. But I agree this would be a great way to rediscover music you'd forgotten about. Hope you weekend is filled with great music and lots of laughs.

  3. I have one playlist on my iPod, called "Upload this list." It keeps things simple for me when deciding what to put on there, and I always listen on shuffle. I don't like the predictability of always hearing the songs in a certain order.

I really like the new design, btw.

I have come to the realization that I may have been mis-typed. I have often taken personality tests and generally come up with the result that I am INFP. I recently took a test that said I was INFJ actually, and the more I have been researching, the more that actually sounds like me.

What it really comes down to is the external/internal focus of the different functions (a topic that I'm still trying to wrap my head around, so I apologize if I don't explain it right). The I--J tends to actually function more as a "Perceiver" than a "Judger", contrary to what you might think (and vice versa for the I--P), which is a common reason these two types are mistaken for each other. How it actually plays out though is quite distinctive, which is why once I started reading more about INFJ's, I realized how much more like me it sounded. Basically, there are...
"...two broad and fundamental options for approaching life and information: Judging and Perceiving. Pe…

DIY Art Journal

Hi, my name is Linda and I am a 25 year old law student living in Manhattan. I blog over at My Passion Is... about my life, scrapbooking, DIY crafts, photography, exploring NYC & more. I am honored to be sharing a post with you today on Jen's blog, so thanks for having me!

I recently completed a mini album that I made out of a pasta box so I wanted to share a tutorial with you so you could make your own!

What you need:
empty pasta box [I used a whole foods penne pasta]scrapbook papers & embellishmentsa single hole punchsturdy tape [like packaging tape]a paper cutter and/or scissorssome sort of binding, either binding rings or ribbon First, you are going to flatten out your pasta box.

Then you are going to cut it down to two 6x6 squares [or whatever size album you want to make]. If the box doesn’t fit perfectly in those shapes that’s alright, just piece them together using packaging tape to hold the squares together. Once you cover them it won’t matter anymore. Make sure t…

Vintage Travel Poster

One of our projects this coming term is to do a computer illustration of a painted vintage travel poster. I've been Googling some options and here are some that I like. Which would you pick?
